When I sit down ,I get a pain "down there" and I have to constantly shift my position to let off pressure.

Question:
It doesnt do this when I am sitting on the sofa or a recliner, just when I sit somehwere that is a hard surface....like, stools, bleachers....etc.... Anyone know what this could be? It actually doesnt hurt all the time. Just at certain times.
Thanks for any help :)

Answers:
Hello: It could be a number of things such as osteoarthritis, a dislocated disc, a pinched nerve, a stress fracture, etc. It is best to go to your doctor, and tell him. He will order Xrays or a CAT scan if he feels this is necessary and get you on the road to recovery. Hope you feel better.

I'D LIKE TO PREFER TO GO YOUR DOCTOR BECAUSE HE CAN NTELL YOU ABOUT YOUR SITTING PROBLEM
