serious question about tampons?
Question:
Answers:
did any of you with the rude answers ever stop to think that maybe this question was posted by someone who has not yet learned about the cycle/ just got her first or one of her first periods and is therefore probably pretty young? I highly doubt every young woman at the 10- 15 age range knows absolutely everything about her anatomy- specifically a part of it that up til now she has probably had very little information on. Give the kid a break and go waste your time elsewhere.
Anyway, if you do happen to get some urine on the string of the tampon, gently dab the wetness out with toilet paper.

Yes, different hole, Dear.
yes you can and comfortably just dont leave them in over night! otherwise your good to go to the bathroom :)
You can leave it in but there is a risk of contamination from the urine seeping up the tampon into the vagina. That could cause infection or some serious irritation.
yes, you can use the bathroom with a tampon in. you do not urinate out of your vagina, so there is no need to remove the tampon.
you can leave it in because the urine and the blood from the period come out of two different areas.

i'm a female :)
Yes, you can urinate while wearing a tampon. The urethra is a tiny small and slightly above the vagina
Leave it in. No problem. And you can wear them overnight unless you've had toxic shock syndrome.
Yes you can leave it in
absolutely. the urethra, from you you urinate is the orifice above your vagina, which is where the tampon goes. the tampon isn't going to budge when you urinate, so you're absolutely fine.
yes its safe and totally ok. i usually change mine every time i go use the bathroom but some people go more often than others :) good for you to ask tho. lots of women/girls wouldn't :)
Get real! The tampon is in the vaginal cavity, which is in the inside of the body. The urinary opening is under the clitoris on the outside of the body. Go ask you physiology or biology teacher for more details, obviously you were not paying attention in class.
wow, totally different hole..geez
Of course you can leave it in. If you pee 20 times a day you'll be using 20 tampons. That's way too much.
you can't be for real with this question or you are to young to be on the computer. go ask your mama.
IT is wise to remove the tampon before urinating. Because if you urinate keeping it, Bladder would not be empty properly. Although the passage is different.
you can but have to be carefull not to get it wet. i suggest doing this if you dont have a spare and really have to go....
Yes, you can pee while you wear a tampon..pee comes from a different place than where you have your period.
~*You dont take it out!*~
lol yes deary..they are two completely different holes for different functions..
Just hold the string out of the way and let 'er rip.
