that burning feeling!!!!?
Question:
Answers:
It sounds more like a urinary tract infection. The only connection with your having your period is that you may have introduced bacteria into your urinary tract while taking care of your period.
Drink lots and lots of water and avoid alcohol, coffee, sodas with caffeine. The uric acid in your urine is what is irritating you. The infection is what's made the urethra sore in the first place.
Cranberry juice can help reduce the feeling but if it continues, you need to get antibiotics at the doctors. Don't let it go on for days and days as the infection might go up into your kidneys and that is a much bigger problem. However, sometimes, drinking a great deal of cranberry juice and/or water will flush the bacteria out of your system and you heal yourself.
Sound like you may have a UTI.
