Any ladies out there w/ really FAT LEGS?
Question:
When I lose weight, my legs look sturdy & muscular & normal but my back and arms look emaciated, like you can see all the bones in my sternum (& I get accused of anorexia even though my legs are still chunky!)
Answers:
It sounds like your situation is "pre-programmed" by genetics. Even though the majority of women's bodies tend to store extra fat in the thighs and/or buttocks, sometimes the fat is instead stored in places like the abdomen (i.e. a female "beer belly") or in the legs (as is the case with you).
If the only way for your legs to look normal/non-fat is for your back and arms to look emaciated, I guess the only solution would be to take up an exercise program that's SPECIFICALLY designed to build muscle in the arms and back area. I don't know what that would be, probably some type of weight training, but I'm sure a fitness trainer could tell you exactly what's best. :) If you have a chiropractor, he/she could also tell you, since a chiro is obviously intimately familiar with how all the muscle groups move and work. I've gotten advice on this type of thing from my chiro, and it was right on.
At any rate, good luck! :)
