how long do the withdrawel effects take to come of dihydracodine? especially the twitchy legs!!?

Question:

Answers:
Usually no longer than a week, depending on how long you have been taking it. The restless leg syndrom should be gone after three or four days. Benadryl will help with the anxiety and twitchiness. About 50mg. If it doesn't get any better, consult your doctor to see about being weaned off of the medication, instead of quitting cold turkey. Some people tolerate weaning better than cold turkey. You may be one of them.
it will depend on how long you have been taking it, if it has been prescribed or used illicitly, it can take couple of weeks, to completely clear from the system.

you need to consult your GP or a drug counsellor for more personalised advice.
The muscular twitches might be due to you changing medication recently. I was taking Co-Proxamol for years and it's now being decommissioned so I had to switch to Paracetamol and got the twitchy legs. It's withdrawal symptoms!!
