Question: I am 13 and have never had my period before. I have been getting discharge for abou a year now. Sorry if this is groos, but my discharge was brown yesturday and today. It is a light brown. Is it my first period? I had it one day, then it went away.

Sounds like it to me. Mine was brown at first, too. Congratulations ! (It's really not so bad !)

I agree with the others, though....ask your mom or the school nurse just in case it's something else that needs attention.
