It's hard to be certain why you notice an offensive odor now- though after a baby and as one matures- our bodies change too. It may be your particular body chemistry has changed slightly, or it may even be that you are simply more finely attuned to the odor. There is a difference between deoderant and antiperspirant, though. Deoderant does nothing but camoflauge odor, it does nothing to change how much you are perspiring. That is the job of an antiperspirant. Even that will only control so much, though it also controls the growth of the bacteria that cause much of the odor.
You probably should make another appointment with your physician to discuss this problem. At the time you had your pap smear, the doctor should have noticed if there were signs of a vaginal infection- which would explain an odor as well as discharge- but it is possible that it was missed.
I have read that certain spices can cause one to have a noticeable body odor- but I suspect you would have to be eating them in great quantities all the time. It's also possible that you are just hypersensitive to the odor problem, and that you don't actually smell offensive to others around you. It's certainly worth asking your significant other if he has noticed anything- as he would be a good person to judge and trust. If he hasn't noticed anything, perhaps you could just relax about it all, and sign it off to the changes of a maturing body. Sorry I can't offer better advice than this.
Offensive flow could be due to vaginitis. Consult your GP
