the other opening (vagina) isnt connected to where pee comes from. where the pee comes from is called the urethra, and that is connected to the bladder(where pee is stored) and the kidneys. A bladder infection can happen from holding your pee too long, and can be cured by drinking lots of water and cranberry juice.

As females age, years of gravity causes the urethra opening (which urine comes out of) to slide downward. It ends up inside the opening to the vagina (where you put your tampons). Happens ot most females by age 60. If overweight, it may occur at a younger age.
