What is the best fitness regimen for a breastfeeding mother (please read additional details)?

Question:
I have a 6 week old baby who is exclusively breastfed. My husband is changing jobs soon and will have a lot more time to go to the gym with me, so we are restarting our membership. I currently weigh 146 pounds/66 kilos and I am 5'4" tall. My ideal weight is 130 pounds/59 kilos. I do not intend to go on a "diet" per say, but am trying to cut out junky food in favor of healthier options, while still making sure I get the extra calories I need while breastfeeding. I'm not terribly concerned with losing weight right now, but I do want to get in shape, and at least start forming the habit of going to the gym again on a regular basis. What fitness regimen would be ideal for me to stay in shape, possibly lose weight, but not compromise the quality or quantity of breastmilk?

Answers:
a good diet, is a good start, just write down any changes you have made to your diet just in case your baby has a reaction. With my son i couldn't eat strawberries as it gave him chronic wind. I found after having all my three children that going for a brisk walk in the morning and general sit ups push ups etc at home and a brisk walk with my husband after dinner, i was back to my old self pretty quickly. And my breast milk was not affected.Although after the third baby the belly doesn't seem to want to go all the way back to normal but close enough.
