I've heard that when women live together, they gradually start to menstruate at the same intervals, is this
Question:
Answers:
Synchronous menstruation was first described in 1971 by researchers McClintock and Stern. It is a proven occurrence, borne out by additional studies. Though they are still unclear as to exactly why it occurs, the most widely accepted theory is that it is due to pheromones. Others think it's due to some evolutionary carry-over from prehistoric times, when it was common for men to take multiple mates to ensure the survival of the species, but the pheremone theory makes more sense.

Yes. My mom, sister and myself all would get our periods at the same time. In 8th grade I hung out with the same girls all the time, and we started to have our periods around the same time. Weird huh??
I think that most women start at the same time. I have worked with totally women for 30 years and have found that to be true.
yep. or at least it's true for me, my sister, my mom, and 3 of my closest friends.
Yes, strange but true. yes..so true!! me and my 2 older daughters all have are cycle the same time.WOO HOO.WHAT A FUN HOUSEHOLD!! before they were old enough, mine came a certain date. when they started, mine became screwed up, and we all started about 3 days apart. the doctor said it's because of a certain hormone or chemical women have..too complicated for me!!
You don't even have to live together. My soccer team started menstruating at the same time by the end of the season, and we just spent time together 2 hours a day, 5 days a week! And my dad, as the only man in the house, has to deal with 3 menstruating women all the time. The answer to your question is a resounding yes.
