What causes excess testosterone in a woman other than PCOS?

Question:
What other health issues can cause excess testosterone in a woman (other than Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, that is)?

Answers:
the PCOS is the very well known reason. however a high level of testosterone can be genetically coded... but in all cases it will not be too high. in some cases of genetic disease called masculinasation, in this case the woman is born like a boy while she is XX genetically. this is due to the loss of the enzyme needed to convert androgens into estrogens...

Other Answers:
Non-classical congenital adrenal hyperplasia.
For almost 14 years it's seemed as though I've had PCOS. One doctor did suggest a possible adrenal disorder instead. I just had lab tests done and this doctor doesn't think I have PCOS.
