reoccurrence? If breast cancer comes back, is it more dangerous than the first time? I only had to have 3 surgeries, radiation and ended up with pleurosy from radiation. I am about a year late for a mammogram now but I have no health insurance or money so it's like it doesn't matter as no one will take you unless you can pay them. We make too much money for aid (which is a total joke). but that is the way it is. If you've had breast cancer, what did you go through and how hard was it? Did it come back? What happened when it did? Also, answers from living relatives ok too. My mom died of breast cancer (YEARS ago).

Yes I had breast cancer 17 &1/2 years ago.They removed my right breast.2 Years ago, 2004 I developed a cyct in same area.After having it removed they found it was cancer.They hadn`t removed my breast completely first time, left some under my right arm.I had to have surgury for them to remove what was remaining of the cyst ,as they didn`t get it all the first time,they removed rest of breast tissue too.I had radiation.I`m now on Armedex for five years.I have a chest x ray to make sure I`m okay.God was good and I`m fine.Try Cancer institute in your area they usually will take a person without insurance or adjust price on your income.Check it out I think you`ll find that you can get help,I did at the Moffett Center in Tampa.They have been great.
