Female question.....?

Question: I am a new mom.My daughter is in the 4th grade and she is starting to show a little bit.She says her friends nag her all the time about gettting a bra.Is this to young to start thinking about training bras?I was just wanting advice from other mommies of daughters.Please help....Thanks!

I am a mom and a teacher. Children, girls today are developing at a much younger age. They are hitting puberty sooner, thus the breast development, menstruation etc... I don't think it is too early to shop for a bra. It can be a fun event for the two of you and there are many kinds to choose. Allow her to have a say in what she wants. Besides, she'll be the first in her crowd and be the envy of the other girls. Make it a positive, fun, mom-daughter event! Good luck!

No. Girls develop at different ages and when they are ready, they are ready. Don't make too much of a big deal about it. Go with her to try some on and tell her how great it is to begin growing up!
