My cervix hurts!?

Hi,

I am undergoing bloodwork and such because (I misacrried) during a sonogram, cystic activity was seen in my uterus.
Now, my cervix really hurts. It is causing cramps, in my lower right abdomen.
My cervix had a "lump" at the base, not a bump, but it it swollen. Picture a pear, this is how my cervix feels (the opening of my cervix being the "stem" of the pear).
I cannot see a doctor until next week. Does anyone know what is going on??? Serious replies please.

That is a normal feeling after a misscarage!!! I had it... your body thinks its in labor because of trying to rid its self of the fetus!! If you get really worried go to the emergency room, its your health on the line!!! Also the lump on its own can cause the pain cause your body is trying to dispose of a foriegn object!!! Hope this helps... Goodluck! I know how hard it is, i had 5 before my kids!!! Its hell to deal with the pain, emotional and physical!!!

well the cervix does look like it is a lump. Did they do a pelvic exam? If they did, maybe it's still a little sore.

Just google image cervix (I can't link you because I have a 3 year old daughter on my lap, and I was looking and she was all "What's that?!" and I told her "a cervix" and she was like "no, that's not a cervix".)

Does it feel the way it looks through google image?
