I was on the shot years ago and my periods were all messed up because of it. I would go months without one, then when I finally did start it would last about 3 weeks. I was told that most people do not have one when they are on the shot. I would still mention it to your doctor to make sure everything is okay. I couldn't stay on it long..Yes, it's nice to be w/out a period for months but who wants to make it all up at one time?! Plus I had a lot of other side effects from it, including a lot of weight gain..Even though it is convenient I would never recommend it.

That's kinda weird. but it's probably OK. Yuo should contact your doc just to be sure. But normally the shot will eventually decrease your periods until you might not even get one but every few months. Contact your doctor.
is it around time for you to get your shot again because when my sister was supose to get hers her periode would start back. I wouldn't be too worried periodes a finiky ecpecially (sorry i can't spell) when you are on birth control. Just ask your ob when you get a chance. But honestly i don't think it is any thing to worrie about. Mine normally last 3 days 4 tops then i got on the pill and it lasteed like 8-9 days. Also if you have sex when it stops it'll start right back.
