How long after stopping the Depo shot does it take to get pregnant?

Question:
looking for women that have experienced this

Answers:
"Women who want to become pregnant may stop using Depo Provera at any time. For some women, fertility returns immediately. For others, it may take 6-18 months or longer for the body's hormone cycle to go back to normal."

I am currently on the Depo Provera shot and have used it as my primary source of birth control on and off for years. I once got pregnant ON the depo shot, near the end of a shot cycle...and then it took me about 8 months OFF the shot to get pregnant with my daughter. Every woman's body is different. I may react to something totally different than you would. The best thing to do here, if you're thinking about having a baby, is using the longest timeline you can. Meaning - let's assume that at worst case scenario, you'll get pregnant after about 18 months off the shot. If you want to have a baby within 18 months, stop the shot now. If you want to have a baby more than 18 months from now, wait to stop. There's no science to it - just luck. I wish you all the best.
I got pregnant 3 days after stopping.
