Are you pro-choice or pro-life?
Question:
Answers:
Pro-choice..Because it is exactly what it implies. That there should be a right to choose. I do not excuse women with poor morals who will open their legs for any reason and then use abortion as a birth control method, nor do I excuse men who do not practice responsible sex. No one gets pregnant on their own. Adoption is not always the answer, nor is kids raising kids. I think our welfare system has proved that quite nicely. Unfortuantely people who would make poor parental material still have sex...It's funny how nobody wants to kill "babies" but they are content to let them be brought into a life full of misery...That is a wholesome ideal...The fact is there are too many conflicting studies as to when life begins to say that anyone has the monopoly on the "rightness" of things, but it should be common sense what is life and what is not, or perhaps we should consider capital punishment and "the right to die" (Terry Schiavo) more closely. It is all too easy for people to pass judgment on others without having facts, using only their bias, and self-righteousness to guide them, and this is really too bad because it separates us from each other and makes us a world full of either apathy or hatred. Those are extremes, and nothing was ever solved by extreme-ism. Until you know what it is like to be in a situation you have no right to decide how it should be handled.
I'm pro choice. i have never been in a situation where i would have to choose and i don't think i ever would get an abortion but i understand that things happen and the option is always nice to have
