yup its normal sounds normal.have you tried midol

yes it happens to me all the time

It may be that you just can't take pain, but most women need to take Pamphrin or Midol to take away cramps. If they are to the point of making you physically ill, like vomiting, there may be something wrong (such as a cyst)- talk to your doctor if this occurs.

i highly reccomend extra strength midols

some women experience so much pain during their period that they take the pill.in most cases, it helps. Vitamin C helps too.orange juice works for me.

I used to get seriously bad cramps too. Its because your body is deficient in key nutrients such as iron and calcium. Eating healthy and exercising regularly will help alot. I would go to the doctor, just to be safe. But otherwise, it does not sound strange to me.

No it is not normal. I would suggest going in for a check up with your doctor and give them your symptoms. The docotr cannot diagnose the problem correctly unless you are totally honest and tell them all. I found out by the time I was 13 that I had endometriosis, because my cramps were so bad, I was in bed for close to 2 days, so I went to the doctor and found out what it was, and from there I was treated. Talk to your doctor, you will find more out that way than asking here, but I do understand why you looked to ask here.

Well, i don't usually get THAT bad of cramps. But my best friend does and she takes Midol to get rid of the pain, and it works.

Yes. My sister had them so bad my mom had to put her on birth control pills. Her's was so bad she was in bed every month with bad cramps.

Try taking some evening primrose consistently before your period, and flaxseed oil when your period comes. Also, try some natural therapy, such as meditation and calming herbal teas such as lavender and chamomile to help you relax, as stress can aggravate the pain.
You might want to book an appointment with a gynaecologist for a check to make sure the extreme pain isn't caused by endometriosis or a cyst.
If nothing helps, and endometriosis isn't the problem, you can talk to your gynae and get him/ her to prescribe you birth control pills, which have been known to help reduce severe period cramps.
Finally, try not to take any stimulants such as caffeine when your period arrives, and take plenty of water and increase your magnesium intake. Try and avoid taking too much gas inducing foods, such as beans and onions. Also try and avoid taking too much rich foods or refined carbs to prevent indigestion, thus increasing your discomfort.
Take care.
