Cocoa butter works on my face. Apply right after shaving.

use wax or Nair
Well, I'd recommend using a shaving product that moisturizes as you shave. Using a sharp razor as apposed to a dull one would be advisable; less likely to cut yourself too.

Razor burn is a common problem, especially among those who shave coarse hairs on areas with sensitive skin (including the bikini line, underarms, chest, and beard).

The condition can be caused by:
~shaving too closely
~shaving with a blunt blade
~dry shaving
~applying too much pressure when shaving
~Shaving too fast
~Shaving too roughly

Ways to prevent razor burn include:

~use a moisturising shaving gel
~shave in the direction of the hair growth
~resist the urge to shave too closely
~apply minimal pressure
~avoid scratching or irritation after shaving
~avoid irritating products on the shaved area (colognes, perfumes, etc.)
~use an after-shave cream with aloe vera or other emollients
~use a disposible razor cleaning tool like Razor Gator to lower bacteria present on the razor head.

Ways to heal razor burn include:
~apply witch hazel
~apply mild salicylic acid solutions
~apply aloe vera gel
~apply water
i can't tell you, i never shaved a bikini before
use an electric shaver
first off make sure you use a good multi-blade razor.with your hair trimmed short feel with your hands which way it is growing(it can be all different ways)then lather up real good with some of the gel-foam shaving stuff for women. With the razor lightly "pet" your hair down in the way it is growing and rinse off razor often will make for a smooth and non irritated.whatever.

Shave with deodorant..I know sounds weird, but it really works. Put on more right after you shave, and be sure to use a new razor every time for the bikini area.
liquid/ roll on deodorant
