Why do I get a headache whenever I take a nap?
Question:
Answers:
it's probably mild dehydration or an underactive thyroid.
I get the same thing sometimes and I found it was from too much dairy product. I like yogurt but it requires extra water to metabolise the calories.

Try putting your hand underneath your chin before dozing off.
That way your head will not slam into your desk when you fall asleep.
If you have bad sinuses, that might be causing it. More sinus pressure when you lay down. Less when you sit up again. If it's your sinuses, you can always prop yourself up in bed so that you're not lying down completely flat. That should help keep the pressure from building up.
Of course, you should probably check with a doctor just to make sure nothing else is wrong.
If your need to nap in the middle of the day is due to a dip in your blood sugar level (mine does at 1:30 to 2:00 pm), then your headache may be due to that too. If you don't put the covers up over your head (carbon dioxide can give you a "turtle headache", then low blood sugar is your likely cause. Eat something with protein in it - like a handful of almonds or peanuts before you go down for your nap.
See if that doesn't take care of it.
