Question:

Well...i'm thirteen year old, I have a hero thats nineteen. I really trust her, and she's like a sister too me (which she doesnt know). I want to ask her how old she was when she first got her period, but i dont know how to or if it's a good idea. She is at college and the only why i talk to her during the year is on aim. I have already started mine (at eleven). But i want her to know that i only feel confortable with her, and open the comunication line. I can't talk to my mom about anyting like this. Please help!

Just ask her. I'm sure she won't mind.

don't be shy. if she is your real friend then she won't turn you down or think you are weird or too open. friends are soposed to be able to talk to eachother open and honestly.
