it hurts when i have sex?

Question:
i'm 19 and i've only done it 4 times and it hurt like hell.what should i do? the doctor said i have retrospective utheres; could this be an inpediment? it's been said that if you wait until you are old enough then it would be much pleasenter.

Answers:
Is likely there is insufficient lubrication. Can be as simple as insufficient foreplay or lack of secretion by the glands which take care of that lubrication.. Need to have it checked out. Urethra problem would be a bit more specific in area.. lack of lubricant would be more internal. At least this will give you something to measure specificity of the location.

'Doctor, Doctor, it hurts when I do this!'
Doctor: 'So don't do that!'
Not to be too flip here, but if something, ANYTHING, hurts.your body is trying to tell you something! I may be that you're not lubricating enough, causing undue friction.it may be your partner who is being too forceful, after all, this is a new activity for you. I'm not going to tell you not to have sex; that decision can only be made by you, for you, but be sure that you are not feeling pressure to do more than you'd like. Remember, there is really no such thing as 'safe' sex.just 'safer'.!

You've gotta wonder about some of the idiots who answer here.

Several things - the already mentioned lubrication could help. Make sure to always use waterbased lube. However, if you are not lubricating sufficiently at your age, you should have it checked out. Maybe there's something amiss with your lube glands. Or you're not turned on enough when intercourse begins.

If you have a prolapsed uterus, you could try being on top during sex. Another advantage is that you're more in control then.

And - you could get a sex toy - a vibrator - and use lube to insert into your vagina. Sometimes it just takes some getting used to and a toy would help with that. Also, it will give you the opportunity to figure out what floats your boat without being under performance pressure.

Good luck.
