I would look at this in reverse. why do men talk less? The truth is women, in general, are more open about life and able to talk about it on many levels easily with friends, family and even people we just met

because we have lots to say.. "Women talk so much"----That depends who you are comparing with who. Some women talk alot and some very little. The same goes for men. There are settings in which men talk to much---just nonsense talk just like women.
