You are a little heavier than my daughter who will be 16 next month and she can not be considered to be too thin. Your weight depends on your height, body fat and bone density.
Don't force yourself to eat more than you can handle, you can cause problems for yourself.
One way to gain healthy weight is to do weight lifting, and getting regular exercise. This will add some more muscle and make you hungrier.
I don't think age is the issue it would be height. If you want to gain weight drink Ensure they make "weight gaining" drinks that are like shakes. I give them to my middle boy since he is REAL skinny (he has gained about 4 lbs - which is alot when you only weigh 48 to start with). They are also very reasonable priced less than $1 per shake.
