i had an abortion a year ago?

Question:
please dont judge me. I had an abortion a year ago. I used the pill that they give you for 500 bucks a pop for all the people who are early in the first 3 to 5 weeks of pregnancy. But I noticed that ever since then my body has been acting very strangely. My vagina is not tightening like it used to. I know that seems crazy but is it possible that the chemicals in the pill stripped away its ability to tighten???? Other than that I also have been experiencing great amounts of discharge and odor. I am very very clean and I drink alot of citrus acid. I have an appt. to see a doctor in two weeks but im looking for some helpfull opinions..

Answers:
The best thing you can do is keep your appointment. Do some research on the drug if you think it may be responsible. Chances are given it was one pill over a year ago chances are it isn't responsible.

The lack of tightening could be physcological. If you are having doubts about the abortion you might consider some counceling.

Not knowing the history of your sex life, or your physical activity level, for all I know you haven't had sex in a while, if this is so maybe you could benefit from some kegal exercises, or just some old fashion walking to strengthen the muscles.

Or it coud be from whatever infection/disease that is causing the discharge. It doesn't take an "unclean" person to get an infection or disease, it's just a matter of having sex with someone that has passed it onto you. No matter how many citris juices you drink it won't prevent contracting an STD

At any rate, keep your appointmen, I'm surprised they didn't get you in sooner given your symptoms. Good luck
It could be that you didn't get rid of all the products of conception, and they could be trapped in the uterus causing an infection.
I suggest telling the OBGYN the truth about the abortion, and finding out if you need anything further such as a D&C.
