hm.well i usually get a sore throat before i get sick so to avoid that..first take airborne.
and for your sore throat get some throat spray. take an advil. then drink lots of tea with tons of honey.

Gargle with warm salt water twice a day because it kills the germs. My doctors always tell me to chew ibuprofin and swallow it. Its disgusting but it helps. Good luck
I can only tell you what I use in witchcraft - a pinch of sage, pinch of rosemary, 1/3 cup of plantain (like small bananas, but optional) and few tablespoons of honey. Boil 5-6 minutes and drink when cold.
