If I take the birth control pill, it only stops ovulation, right. Will I then be still dripping blood?

You will still have menstrual periods (bleeding) every month, generally... unless you take a specific type of pill that alters your menstrual cycle. There are suppose duly new pills out that make your periods shorter, or even once every few months instead of every 28 days. Check with your doctor.
there are a couple forms of birth control one being the depo prevara shots, that also stop the periods. most birth control pills you will continue to have a normal period. just ask the doctor if you want to try the injection form of birth control, good luck
