HI! IVE BEEN THROUGH WHAT UR GOING THROUGH.I.E THE DEPRESSION PHASE. WE ALL GO THROUGH IT. THE BEST WAY TO OVERCOME THIS IS TO GET BUSY IN CERTAIN ACTIVITES LIKE EXERCISE.WORKING OUT AT THE GYM WITH A FRIEND.HANGING OUT WITH FRIENDS OR JUST SHARING UR FEELINGS WITH A FRIEND OR SUM1 WHO'D UNDERSTAND U.TRY NOT TO SIT IDLE FOR TOO LONG CUZ THAT WILL END UP IN DEPRESSIVE THOUGHTS COMING BACK TO U. JUST TRY EATING FRESH HEALTHY FOOD E.G FRUITS ETC. BELIEVE ME UR CHOICE OF FOOD REALLY HELPS AND A LITTLE TIME IN THE KITCHEN IS FUN IN ITSELF..DONT LET ANYTHING BRING U DOWN. SAY UR PRAYERS AFTER U WAKE UP AND BEFORE U SLEEP AND THANK GOD 4 EVERYTHING U HAVE ..WE USUALLY WAIL OVER THE MINOR ISSUES AND IGNORE THE MAJOR BLESSINGS IN OUR LIVES. JUST BE THANKFUL AND LOVE URSELF 4 WHO U ARE. IT'LL ALL BE PERFECTLY FINE . TAKE CARE AND CONTACT ME IF U NEED SUM1 TO TALK TO ID BE GLAD TO HELP :)

You should find phychiatrist/psychologist it is a serious matter. Don't exclude the possibility of treatment please! Talk to the doctor ASAP. Don't be Tom Cruise fan
I was scared to take medicine also but Wellbutrin changed my life. I'm back to my old self and am slowly and successfully comming off the medication now. Sometimes you just need a little help to get your neuroreceptors firring in the correct manner again.

Take a walk for starters. Slowly work in to a happy exercise routine. Eat more fish in your diet. Im actually taking Zoloft and its really worked for me.If you dont wanna take medication for it.hopefully you have a supportive family and good friends to help you through this.Its not going to go away on its own.You should consider counseling.you might feel better talking with someone about what your going through.Dont feel bad.your not the only one going through this.Depression is so common so dont put yourself down.Take care of yourself!
I too had a partial hysterectomy and now suffer from clinical depression. Some things I have found helpful are: exercise-which I hate with a passion,but it works,talking with others who have depression-chat boards are a start if you are not able or willing to pay a therapist,take up a new hobby-one was given to me (internet access and now I contest),religion (your choice,of course),see a doctor if you have any thoughts of suicide OF COURSE!

Well i am not a Doctor but i know many medications are depressants and alcohol is life in general has a way of depressing people it's real hard to find things that are not depressing these days but there are natural herbs for this
chemical depression could be real bad and we are seeing more and more of it. if you are seeing a doctor tell him how you are not wanting to take drugs for this.
