I have severe anxiety before and right after my period too and my remedies are to take long walks outside and get some sun. Keep yourself busy and talk to a friend about it if you need to. Learning to accept that it's going to happen will sometimes keep you calm. Breathing exercises can help too. Close your eyes; breathe in through your nose slowly and out your mouth slowly. Concentrate on the breathing. Do this for a few minutes and see how you feel; you can also do it longer if you need to. Hope this helps you! Good Luck!
