doing amniocentesis again . safe?

Question: i had an amniocentesis and miscaried. does anyone know if i have to have it again (or if i choose to ever do it again) if i am at risk of miscarying again just because it happened the first time? or they are not related.

Because I don't know the circumstances of your miscarriage, the possible genetic problems that were being looked for and so on, I can't research
your question very well. But a Yahoo! search on "rate of miscarriage amniocentesis" seems to turn up some pretty in-depth reports. Just skip anything like "Baby News" and such. A quick glance can show whether a site is relevant and reputable.
