I used it in labour 12 weeks ago and found it was good, i had to have more pain relief in the end, but people go the whole way through with just that. the 'vibrations' mean it reduces the pain and inflamation of muscles. my mum has one for her back as she suffers badly with back pain and has found it to be very helpful. the pads need to be stuck on to the affected area. hope thats helped
