could i be pregnant?

Question: I had sex with my boyfriend as my period was just ending.there was very slight discharge still..and i have heard when you are on your period the chances of getting pregnant are very unlikely.so being i was just getting off..what would you say the odds are?

The chances when you are ending are just as good as the chances before you begin. For the average woman, 14 days after the first day of your period is when you are the most fertile. That's with a woman who has very predictable periods.

I would say you wouldn't have to worry about the odds if you use proper protection.

And it's impossible to tell the odds. Every woman is different. You CAN get pregnant even on your period.

Get yourself on the pill, and make your boyfriend use protection. Then you won't have to worry.
