How to cure "Enterococcus faecalis" an urinary infection?

Question: Wife with 6 months, have it, in her mo. diagnosis, but why she have it? what cause this infection?. I check wikipedia and all but no "cause" or "treatment". So any help on this issue will gladdly give you 10 points.

An UTI is cause by a bacteria that travels up the vagina. Mostly cause when you have sex. The best thing to is drink plenty of canberry juice that turns into acid and flushes the bacteria out when you urinate. Also when you have sex make sure she goes to the bathroom and urinate after sex that will help prevent the UTI from starting. If that don't help go see your doctor.
