Ok Ladeis! I need your help!?

Question:
ok..well i just started takin birth control this past sunday (ortho evra) ive had a stomach ache for the last 2 days now, and today i had a back ache and i know that nausea can be a side effect of the birth control, but someone said it sounds like i have symptoms of pregnancy...but i also just had my period last week...so are these just side effects?

Answers:
It is most likely just a side effect. And as for comments made by brainshoveler I can tell you right now he is full of it. Ignore what he said cause it is totally false. If you are having doubts about it though I would talk to your MD. Especially if your symptoms don't improve in a few days.

Other Answers:
yeah
These are very common side effects of birth control. Knowing that you had your period last week it is very unlikely that you are pregnant. However, it is possible to be pregnant and have a period during the first few months of pregnancy. Your OBGYN should have done a pregnancy test prior to putting you on birthcontrol. Call and see if they did. If your still not confident in your feelings it never hurts to be tested.
Generally when you have a period, the next week is safe period,
as the ova starts forming and takes a week to develop. So my guess is that you are not pregnant. If its first time you are trying out these pills, it should be side effects. In any case, it is advisable to consult your gynac.
miss, i am in the medical field and i can say beyond a reasonable doubt that you are 100 percent pregnant. the stomach ache is the fetus reacting to the pill which is killing it. you will most likely have a painful miscarrage in the next few hours.
I think that you are not pregnant.when you have your period,it means that you are not pregnant.if you have your next time period too,be SURE that they are just side effects
