How old was your daughter when she started her period?

Question:
How long before did she start cramping and boob pain?

Answers:
I don't have children yet. I started my period at ten years and two months. I started developing boobs at eight. I heard about girls starting their periods as young as eight (maybe even younger). I know eight for sure because sadly their was a girl who was pregnant at the age of eight years ago.

Other Answers:
I don't have daughter but I started at 12 years old.

sorry, I don“t have children. But thanks for the 2 points! As you probably know the average age of menarche (when period starts) has become earlier and earlier over the years. I don't have a daughter but some of my friends kids have started even around 10 years old or earlier.

your daughter might get her period around the same time you got yours when u was younger. Thats usually around the age of 12-16 years old.

The onset of menstruating varies from girl to girl.
A good indicator for a girl to start bleeding is when the women in her family started, especially her mother. When I was working as a counselor in a group home for girls the youngest girl was 9 years old. Body symptoms can begin with the onset of menstruating.
