Your friend likely has an eating disorder and her parents need to know so some type of intervention can be done. This problem is common especially among young women of normal or nearly normal weight and is usually characterized by episodic binge eating and followed by feelings of guilt, depression, and self-condemnation.
If unsuccessful at vomiting, your friend may also be using laxatives, dieting, or fasting.
Don't let her get bulimic. she isn't doing it yet but she's getting there. Get her help before she becomes bulimic! If you are a true friend you will get her help.
