i have a line on my stomach that runs down to my pubic area what is that line called and why is it there?

its not very dark but it become a bit more darker then when i noticed it.

I am not sure what the name of the line is, but I do know that it appears during certain hormone changes in one's life. I never had one until I became pregnant, then it appeared. Sometimes it just goes away.

It's called the Linea negra (latin for black line). Everyone has this line. It becomes more pronounced during pregnancy. Are you pregnant?

I forgot the name of it but I got one when I was pregnant.
If you are pregnant then that could be it. if not then I have no clue but I am sure its nothing to wory about. I don't know, but I have one, too.
