I was nauseated and had even started eating pickles with everything from pears to pineapple sherbet. One day during sex I had a sharp pain and I stopped immediately. The pain stayed on and off for about three or four days. My period came a few days late and it's been on now for a week and it's usually no more than four days. I am a Diabetic and have trouble keeping it under control. Does this sound like a miscarriage? Also, if I go to a doctor would they be able to tell me if this is what has happened?

Changes in eating habits could just be cravings from your monthly cycle, which is what this sounds like to me. You don't necessarily get crazy food cravings during pregnancy, and most of my friends didn't get them until their second trimester, in which case you would know you were pregnant. I am not sure a doctor could tell. I don't know how long you think you were pregnant, but it could all just be a coincidence.
