I want to have an breast reduction but don't know if the doctor Will do the surgery on me, Because of my age?
Question:
Answers:
I would go to a consultation with a surgeon. Only he can tell you for sure.
Most likely, you will need to wait. I wanted it done at 12, so I understand your pain! I'm 24 and I just now had it done. It will be worth the wait - I promise!

Maybe with your parents permission, but not without it..Take care honey...
A lot of it depends on if they cause medical problems or not. Yry to get you parents on board first.
no they probably won't. Your dr will probably require you to diet and workout. Your body is still changing. If you were to have the surgery now, your breasts might still grow and you would have to have the surgery again. It is best to wait until you are older and have finished growing. doesn't hurt to ask though.
Not likely until you are 18. The dr. will have you do exercises first. If those don't allievate back pain, then he/she will try a brace. if that doesn't help, they will try physical therapy, which is just more exercises, but with supervision. This is the process they gave me, but I was 20. Good luck
Beware doing this too early. you could still grow. I gained and lost weight after my surgery and they are a little bigger than i would have liked. If you are near Indianapolis, Dr. Turkel is wonderful. Look her up.
the doctor should do it as long as your parents sighn something saying its ok with them. so ask ur doctor (privately). and if he says that if u get permisson then talk to ur parents
