For those of you who have used the Depo shot in the past and dont take it anymore...?

Ok, heres the thing, I was on the depo shot for a while, and I went off it in January. I have only had 3 periods since then, the 3rd being now, and each time including this one have been the most uncomfortable most heavy period I have ever had in my whole life.. Have any of you experienced this? Is this a normal side effect? PLLEEEAAASSSEEE tell me I will eventually get normal again.

Answers:
I took the depo shot once. I had a continuous period during that time. While my body was going off of it, I had a period every 2 weeks and it was very heavy. My periods have just started being normal again, and it's been 1 year since my last shot.

Ask your doc. I've never heard of anyone going abnormal for almost a year. For your sake, I hope this passes.
