waking up alot.?

Question:
hey my name is Andrea! Lately I've been waking up from having bad dreams. Tonight I even woke up feeling restless/nervous too! And for the past two nights, I've been waking up with white gel on the inside of my mouth by my lips. Does anyone have a clue to what this would be? I did take some Xanax which might have made me feel restless.but that's about it. I still don't know why I've been waking up with gel on the inside of my mouth.it's kinda creepy!

Answers:
The bad dreams can be from watching tv close to bed time.or from something that's bothering you emotionally. Drink more water to fix the dry mouth. As for the Xanax.yes it will make you sleepy, but if you've been on them for a long time, Xanax will actually decrease your REM sleep, causing more fatigue in the long run. I'm suprised your doctor didn't discuss this with you. Never hurts to write down a list of questions for the doc the next time you visit. Xanax is also addictive and should be used in moderation.

Other Answers:
You are not drinking enough water..thats the dry mouth with the layering.and not getting enough fresh vegetables and fruit..

Cut out drinking alcohol and junk food and you will find your dreams will be better.and your moods will also improve.
Junk food have additions in them that affect your system.so eating proper food is the start and drinking 2 litres of water and walking too.
You need to start looking after your body.
The white in your mouth is just a little dehydration.you might not be drinking enough water or you could be breathing through your mouth when you sleep. Xanax doesn't make you restless, typically it should make you relaxed. Bad dreams are caused by many things such as watching upsetting things on TV right before bed, eating spicy food or your subconscious is trying to work something out that has been bothering you. Consider what the cause may be and then eliminate the problem if you can.
