ok.I have to tell you that cocaine is a monster that won't let you off. I do not have personal experience but I've watched someome very close to me struggle to regain control and is still struggling. Were you there with her while she was "experimenting"? I hate to break it to you but she did more than one line. Cocaine is a serious drug that could get you addicted on the first try. Not only does it damage your body and your personality it will damage everyone who your close with and who loves you. Cocaine stays in the system for 3 days so yes, there will be traces of it left in her system. I seriously hope that she doesn't try it again. OH, here's another question. What makes you think that this time was her first time doing this? Rapid weight loss is a factor of using this kind of drug among others. I want you to let her use your computer to read what I am saying. I've had to battle with this loved one for several years. I've had to put up with him not coming home and spending his whole paycheck on this stuff. He doesn't even care that we need food or we need to pay bills. His personality went from loving to a person that I hate being around. Family becomes last on the list as well as other top priorities. You might look at this and say oh that's not bad and I can handle that.. I have to say that it is pure hell and of course your not going to know how it actually feels without going through it.but why would you want you? I also would like you to do some research about this drug and what happenes to the people on it. It can cause some serious damage including death. Please..stop it while you can and go have an awesome life without the help of drugs.

If she's stupid enough to use cocaine then you don't need her for a freind.
well there is a good chance they might, drugs can stay in your system for a long time. is this the cause of your friends weight-loss?? (other drugs i mean) because if so i think its best they do catch it and get her some help! There still may be traces of the drug in her system.
they will only detect what they are looking for in her blood. If the blood test is to check sugar, protein, disease, thats what they will find. If they do a drug test in her blood ,then they will find the cocaine. She is told what test is going to be done and have the option to agree to take the test or not. They can't do a drug test without her permission.
first of all what a bloody stupid thing to do.it will not be decteted cos they wont be looking for it,also cocain disperses from the body very quickly indeed.pot on the other hand is detectable for a possible number of years after..
Yes they screen 4 everything now days, opps! Blood tests for weight loss include blood counts ,ESR,and other tests.
Cocaine can not be detected unless specially tested for. This is not a routine test.
If they run a drug screen, it will be positive.however, that is the only way to detect the drug, unless she has physical exam findings of cocaine use. Usually after taking drugs, or alcohol, its up to 24 hours in your system - a blood test will be able to detect whether she has taken any drug or alcohol, along with urine samples. If she has got a drug/alcohol problem they will refer her to the approirate clinic to help control and detox any misuse. Depending on her age, if she is under 18, social services may become involved to help the welfare of her and any surrounding family issues or problems. If there is no detection of drugs/alcohol in her system they may ask for a repeat test later on in life, she may have food eating habits like anorexia or something, which the doctor will then help her with the proper treatment.
