Other Answers:
conslt ur family doctor..

do not worry about it. every woman's body has a different biological schedule. Being underweight may be the cause. Mature women that lose too much weight can stop having their period.

Definitely see a doctor and discuss it.

Good Luck

you must go to the doctor, listen me Its probably fine but you should see you doctor it could be any thing and sorted with a few pills

Accept your body for whom you are. There is no magical age when a women begins her menstural cycle. If you are really active in sports that may delay it too. Trust me, don't feel you have to have it by a certain age - remember you'll be dealing with it for a very looooooooooong time.

However, if you are really concerned there is something physically or medically wrong - speak with your mother and ask if you can see your doctor for advice.

Good Luck.

some girls start late, go to the dr to make sure everything okay i think you should see a doctor but there probably nothing wrong your probably just late
i hope all goes well

16 is borderline late for the onset of menstruation. You should see your gynecologist.
There are other reasons why periods are delayed and he/she can tell you whether you fall into any of those categories (i.e. low body fat of 15-17%, obesity, excessive prolonged exercise, hormone supplements).

Your period will come soon and I'm 11 turing 12 and I had my period also advise pads are easier to use then tan-ponds. be happy, the same happened to my mum and she just got it later, I doubt there is anything to worry about, but if you dont get it in a year or so or you really worry go and try a doctor

you should really be happy! I started to have my period with the age of 11.and I was very uncomfortable with it at that age

with 16 you may be mentally ready fo it and you can understand it better. Maybe it won't even hurt that much because you will be sexually active soon or you are yet
