I had a tummy tuck in 2002. I was just diagnosed with invasive cervical cancer and will require a radical laparoscopic hysterectomy. From what I understand is that the dr. will pump my abdomen with air.What effect will, if any, that have on my tummy tuck. Thanks

no effect at all on your tumy tuck, dont worry, the laparoscopic surgery is much less invasive than a laparotomy ( to cut your belly like in a c seccion) anyways, the air will be removed from your belly after the surgery, you will get swollen a little bit but in one week or less you'll be as normal as before the surgery.

None I had a LAVH last May and that was the thrid laproscopic surgery I had and it doesn't effect your tummy.

What you will need is some thing gas b/c that dang gas hurts and makes you haver horrible shoulder pain. They aren't quite sure why though.
