Can a small placental tear be healed?

Question:
My wife has a slight tear. She is 12 weeks pregnant and i'm afraid the placenta will continue to tear.

Answers:
I believe that this can be fixed rather easily by injecting a glue of sorts into the sac (this is what is done when genetic testing requires taking a piece of the placenta), but it involves strict monitoring and bed rest in a hospital. Do exactly what her doctors say to do, and I'm sure that both mother and baby will be fine. If you have any questions, call her doctor's office, they will be glad to tell you what to do, and how healing the uterus works.
i expect she is being monitored often? i think it can heal, but in later pregnancy it can be life threatening for mum and baby if it comes away ,you need to talk to the doctors more about this i would want to know more myself, if i was you i would look on google for answers, good luck to you both..
