How early can you tell you are pregnant by means of the blood test?

I have an IUD(since febuary) and I have loved it, I dont have normal periods even without the IUD(i have PCOS) My husband and I were having sex 3 nights ago and he did not pull out. I am worried that I may be pregnant. I am nauseated but I dont know if it is because I am worried. I have 2 children already so I am very aware of how it feels to be pregnant but its too early to to know by the way I feel.

iud's have a failure rate of less than 1 /1000women. and i personally consider it one of the best mode of contraception for a woman who already has children.i wouldnt worry about it.i think ur nausea is psychological.

a simple blood test confirms pregancy, by measyring the titre of HCG hormone which doubles every 24hrs once there pregnancy, the same can also be detected in urine, from where it is excreted.
usually these tests are very sensitive and pick uo\p findings quickly after about 2wks. u can get the tests done as and when feasible

hmmm, IUD isnt very effective contraception device. a blood test will give a HCG result, this is a test for pregant women seeing if they are pregnant, um, by the sounds of it you could be.

go see you ob/gyn or local GP and get it confirmed if your worried, and maybe look at other contraceptive options. My doctor could tell by my HCG levels that I was about two weeks pregnant. I don't know how early they can tell though.
