Can women take Viagara? Does it help them? (Serious answers only please!)?
Question:
Answers:
In theory it should, but the studies to date have been inconclusive. I have tried prescribing it to a few of my female patients with sexual dysfunction, but eventually gave up because they weren't having any benefit. I have heard a few sporadic reports of success, but that seems to be the exception rather than the rule.
If you are more specific about what your problem is (lack of desire, inability to orgasm, painful intercourse, etc.), I suspect you'll get some good suggestions from this forum.
Other Answers:
Yes they can, it is used for severe pulmonary hypertension.
yes, some doctors have prescribed viagra to women.however the results are not as good as with males ( I remember reading a report on that somewhere..?). Despite it's overwhelming success, Viagra is not for everyone. Viagra is intended for men only and should not be taken by women or children.
Are there alternatives to Viagra?
Yes. Since the release of Viagra, there have been several herbal alternatives that have been manufactured, including products for women. These brands work differently than Viagra, yet produce similar results.
