Period acting kinda freaky?

Question:
Well, normally when I have my period it is super heavy ((Soaking whatever I happen to be using within maybe 2 hours, for at least 2 days)) and I pass rather large clots of blood. It normally lasts 5 days. Well, this past 'time of the month' it was much, much lighter than normal, with no clots, and lasted 7 days. Whats up with that? XD I'd appreciate any response any of you have. <3

Answers:
Mine was like that for years, but I also missed a lot of cycles, about two years ago I lost weight, and my cycle regulated itself a lot, and during that time, it lightened up drastically, and I mean one month it was really really heavy, and the next it was so light it was like it almost wasn't there. Look at any changes in your life that could account for changes in your body. If there aren't any, see if you can make an appointment just to talk it over with your doctor. If you are having no other signs of anything being wrong, chances are they will wait a couple more months to see if this becomes the norm for your body. I wish you good luck as I was very scared when this happened as well, but now my bank account thanks me as I don't have to by as many supplies for the month. ;)

If you are in your late 20's, it's very possible you may be experiencing the beginning stages of menopause. See your gyno; changes of this degree are not normal.
Did you start birth control, a strict diet, or a new exercise regimen? Usually that will cause a light period.
I had the same problem. I ended up at an accupuncturist or doctor of oriental medicine and was amazed that after just one session everything is back to normal and I'm going on two months. Try it!
