important...please help?

Question: Well...i'm thirteen year old, I have a hero thats nineteen. I really trust her, and she's like a sister too me (which she doesnt know). I want to ask her how old she was when she first got her period, but i dont know how to or if it's a good idea. She is at college and the only why i talk to her during the year is on aim. I have already started mine (at eleven). But i want her to know that i only feel confortable with her, and open the comunication line. I can't talk to my mom about anyting like this, or to many people because i cant
really talk about things like this. Please help!

Go a head and just tell her that you trust her. See how she reacts. Obviously she is a great person because you look up to her. My guess is that she will understand that you need to ask questions and will give you good advice if she can! As for your mom, some times we don't give moms the credit they deserve. Have you ever tried talking to her about this?

Just ask! If you have any sort of a relationship with her, she won't mind. Women will talk about this stuff! By the way, I was 13.
