are you using tampons? quit! tight fitting clothes doesn't help either. find you are having them moreso in the summer than winter? pack your vaginal area with plain yogurt at night-white cotton panties and a long maxi pad for protection overnight. shower the next day-no sitz tub baths for you! it'll clear up and drink plenty of water, especially during your periods. you lose a lot of fluid during that time and sometimes things tend to 'dry out'.

You may be getting this because you are not washing as thoughouly as you should. While you are having your period, you should do as my wife does. She carries around a box of baby wipes in her purse and usually when she urniates, she'll wipe herself very well with baby wipes. If you use maxi pads, try changing them more often to keep the area down there fresh.
